First the legal stuff.....
In most instances, images within this site have been taken with my own camera, some are sent to me by e-mail, some come through Usnet some I have copied from other "like minded" web sites after asking permission, but, if you see an image that belongs to you, or the copyright belongs to you, please accept my sincere apologies, it was not my intention to infringe on your copyright, if you are unhappy in my use of the image please e-mail me, the image will be removed (on verification of copyright) at the earliest opportunity.
Not that the legal stuff means much of anything here, I mean, this is Thailand, who the hell is going to pursue a copyright infringement in the Thai courts, because the only way you would get me into your country, would be to kidnap me !!
Need I remind you, that I am not an authority on Thailand or of its cultures, people, ways and wherefore, any interpretation I may give, is my own and not to be confused with what other people may or may not say. I am just a normal guy who has lived and traveled for some years in the Kingdom, I have a few opinions that I am going to share with this site. If these opinions help you then that's fine, if they don't, then that's fine also, the intention of this site is to give my personal opinion.
All that said, let me just reiterate for those people who have never been on my site before. You will find lots of negative comments and thoughts in these pages, that's mainly because I am not a holiday brochure or travel agent, I tell it how I see it. Being negative does not imply that I dislike the subjects I am writing about. I love this country, I love its people, I just wish I had found it many years ago when I was still young enough to explore it more fully. The negative parts are, I think, my way of reducing your expectations, with the reality of the situations.
You will not find any flash gimmicks, flashing lights, millions of GIF.s or advertising (unless its my own) or anything else that is not needed to promote the site.
I am here simply to write down my opinion. right or wrong, I don't make any excuses for my arrogance or political persuasions, you have the power not to read anything within, I have the power to write what I want and think, if we are agreed on that....we are going to get on like a house on fire.....Burn baby BURN.
Comments good, bad or indifferent are always welcome. Advice is free to anyone who asks, its up to you if you wish to take any advice given. Oh, and I am in no way responsible for bla bla bla. You know the rest....One more thing, if you, along with a couple of other farang I happen to know, don't like what your reading, then why the hell don't you stop reading ??
